Too Hard To Be Considered Pop But Too Pop To Be Considered Hard Rock...

The August Infinity is an American four-piece rock band based in Brooklyn, NY. The genesis of The August Infinity came when drummer Ian Pierce unearthed raw charisma in the most unexpected of places, discovering singer Joshua Hawksley at the 42nd street subway stop. It was there that Joshua first made an impression on New York City as a one-man subway performer. The band has since honed a catchy hard rock sound playing off the added talents of bassist Chris Moss and guitarist Peter Strzelecki.

The August Infinity's self-produced debut album 'Voices of a Generation' received radio play on Sirius XM's most listened to active rock station Octane courtesy of an impressed DJ Kayla Riley. In support of the album the band toured the Northeast, with gigs ranging from headlining performances at New York City's Highline Ballroom and Gramercy Theater, to multiple shows and in-house promotions at Best Buy, Hot Topic and Six Flags, including an invitation to headline the 19th annual Fright Fest Halloween Party at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. The band shared the stage with a number of national acts including the platinum selling band Hawthorne Heights; they were also invited to perform on Fox's Fearless Music.

The August Infinity celebrated the release of their new EP "To Whom It May Concern' to a sold out crowd at New York City's famed Irving Plaza on July 21st, 2011. Having been self produced by the band in their Brooklyn loft, the new EP further explores the band's signature blend of hard rock and pop.
